It’s important to look after yourself whilst at university; it sounds obvious, but many students are so busy and so short on cash that their eating habits often end up irregular and unhealthy. The Fridge Raiders are a group of DMU staff and students passionate about healthy eating and maintaining good mental wellbeing; their aim is to advise students about eating healthily and on a low budget and to encourage students to share cooking and food wherever possible.
Coordinated by Rachel and Sharon from Mental and Counselling Services, the Fridge Raiders have a facebook page and instagram where they will be sharing healthy, low cost recipes and other health tips for students and staff.
